Like its sister hotel, the Praktik Rambla is a modern boutique property boasting an excellent combination of exquisite design, chic comfort and authentic local architecture. In the 19 guestrooms the original mouldings and mosaics on the century-old ceilings and floors have been lovingly preserved and are complemented by gravity-defying designer lamps, mirrors and bold design touches that convey unique sensations. All the rooms are clean and well maintained, as are the en suite bathrooms with bath/shower combo.
The hotel’s Piscolabis Restaurant is situated at the same address, in the Climent Arola house. Full of character, it impresses with its tapas show cooking, and with its variety of succulent dishes and local hors d’oeuvres made with top quality materials. The decoration, created by Contemporain Studio, combines noble materials such as wood and iron with surprising lighting fixtures, giving the restaurant a cosy atmosphere that combines, in a very special way, industrial and trendy aesthetics.
Also at the Climent Arola house, there’s a 200-square-metre terrace-solarium inside a spectacular inner courtyard. This is a place where you can sunbathe, read and enjoy your free time in exceptional surroundings.
