I would not recommend because there are equally good or better hotels in more central locations. We bought a Barclona card but did not get full use of it as the nearest Metro was a 10 min walk.It was 7 blocks to the top of the Ramblas,therefore not a good location for seeing the major tourist attractions. The breakfast choice was very good, but hot food was put out with no means to keep it hot, we therefore had cold scrambled eggs, with cold bacon and cold sausage,It would be so simple to rectify this,and should be obvious. It is the first Best Western we have stayed in that had no tea/coffee making facitlities in the room, and the first to charge to use the hotel PC

Top Tip
Get out of town to the Colonia Guell, some of Gudi's finest work is to be seen there but is is little known. The Nautical Museum is another must see.

No problems @ all. Short walk to subway or longer downhill to Las Ramblas. Room was of high standard, ours had a small balcony. Staff friendly & professional.

Top Tip
Out the Hotel, turn left. At the end of the block turn left again, 3 restaurants close togeth, we used the Italian, good quality & price. Same street as Hotel, to the left 3 blocks on other side was a good pub.

No issues with hotel or staff. Find a taxi driver who knows the hotel! Two out of five didn't know the hotel.

A great hotel. Clean, quiet and just away from the central hustle. For its normal rate it misses a pool or gym facilities but at the justonehotel rate it is excellent. Staff very helpful but disappointing that internet is charged for (expensively) and no printing facilities available (for when we wanted to check in for our flights home).

Top Tip
Everything except Parc Guelle is within a 1 hour walk. Most things a lot less than that. Explore the Rambla's, etc but remember that most bar/cafe/restaurants charge 15% more for sitting outside rather than inside (not a problem as long as you know). Tipping in Spain is fairly rare and 5% - 10% the norm onl;y if you are happy. Enjoy.

Fantastically placed Hotel,polite,attentive staff, making a weekend break even more enjoyable 5*. Speak to Hotel staff, a valuable,wealth of local knowledge,they know the best places to eat and drink.
