There were no tea & coffee making facilities in the rooms, there was no restaurant for evening meals and there was no air conditioning in the public areas

It's a nice hotel in a great location but can be very noisy from traffic outside (on all sides of the building) to hearing toilet flushes in adjacent rooms. Try for a high floor and don't get an odd numbered room on the first floor!

Sagarra restaurant on the same side as Silken towards la Rambla is superb.

We had a really nice stay. Very comfortable beds and lovely shower.

The Hard Rock Cafe is 5mins walk away and really good.

The only problem we had was that there was a terrible smell of sewage in our bedrooom which was'nt very pleasant,but was sorted for the last night.
Top Tip
Make sure to do hop on hop off tourist bus,thats brill,and the fresco and co.restaurant in the shopping centre DOWN AT THE HARBOUR its eat all you can (and more)for 9.95euro; and there is another one off the Rambla.Brill value!!!!!!!!!

Obviously the vacumes did not reach into the corners of the room and around skirting boards.
You could here every word from the people on both sides of your room including a noisy love maker to nights.
