Great location.Full Breakfast was fantastic.Dinner was reasonable-drinks were cheap at the bar....suprised more people didn't use it.Walls are thin and no room tea/milk after day 1 was only minor glitch.
Top Tip
Beware of pickpockets..queues at police station went on for miles.Food/drink everywhere is pricy.Hotel menu of day most days was good.Paellas hmm...all rice no fish...go to Valencia :o)

Good hotel in great location, in quiet street so you get a good night's sleep but just a very short walk to everything to need! Breakfast was really good too a wide selection to suit all. We would certainly recommend this hotel to others.
Top Tip
Use the restuarants just off main routes you get traditional dishes at a good price.
Although you can get off the Aeroport bus at the top of the road very close to the hotel they wont let you on there you have to walk to the Catalunya which is only a few minutes walk but is frustrating when you have waited at the Universitat stop!

Good location and nice room. Breakfast room was a bit cramped and variety of breakfast could have been better.

We used the bus from the airport and found the hotel without too much trouble.

The holtel was in a very convenient position for the Ramblas, Place Catalunya, dining out, transport, etc. If we go to Barcelona again, this is where we will stay. The staff were excellent, the hotel is clean and very friendly. Very good breakfast with lots of choice - no one could complain! Service and prices in the bar are excellent for that end of day nightcap!
Top Tip
We thought the 'Barcelona Card' was not value for money. Better to purchase a 3/4 day travel ticket from tourist offices (one in Place Catalunya 5 minutes from hotel) which gives access to travel on all modes. Once you have sorted the bus travel, this is the best way around. You see much more. The Goudi experience is great. Some good restaurants on Ramblas and aroung the Reding Hotel.
The trip round the harbour is rather dull, no info given as you travel. I would give this a miss. Sagrada Familiar is a must!
Transfer from airport by bus is easy, drop off at 'Universitat' 200 yard from hotel when you arrive, pick up a transfer back to the airport at Catalunya when you go home. There is a bus every 6 minutes!! Great service - we have a lot to learn in the UK.

Very clean hotel, ideal location. All staff very friendly and considerate.. Five minutes walk to Place Catalunya which has many services and transport connections.
Top Tip
Good restaurants in the area at reasonable prices. Anything from a sandwich to a full meal. Airport bus very convenient for this hotel. Drop off at Universitat (200m from hotel) boarding for return at Place Catalunya 5 mins walk. Service every 6 mins during the day.
Travelling by bus and Metro is easy and not expensive. The 2, 3, 4. day travel passes are good value and make the hopping on and off various mades of transport easy. We had the 'Barcelona Card' which covers travel plus access and discounts to some venues but did not think this was value for money. One of our Barcelona Cards got stuck in a Metro ticket machine on day two but we could not get a replacement even though the loss was not our fault.

staff friendly+helpful.fantastic location for sightseeing.wouldnt hesitate to recommend it.some rooms have small balcony which is lovely to sit out on.
