The entire staff was wonderful especially Eva at the front desk and Albert the bellman.
Top Tip
Avoid the restaurant 2 doors from the hotel La Perla Nera restorante Itatiano Pizzeria.
Go to Acamar down by the beach in Barcelonetta, very good food and service. El Cafe D'En Victor,on Avda. Cathedral, very good tapas.

there was confusion when we tried to confirm the booking, we had to make last minute calls to the hotel and to the booking company just before we set off, which was worrying!! All was fine when we got there however, and we loved the hotel and had a fantastic honeymoon! the initial booking service was really good as well, staff very helpful when i rang to discuss various things.
Top Tip
we loved the tapas at 'Gloria's' over the road from the hotel.

Great hotel,great service,great breakfast. Only negatives are poor gym and not enough space on top deck by the pool! It can't all be great though!!

A fantastic chic hotel with graceful staff brilliantly located. The Bar Gotica and equally as fascinating Born district are on the doorstep and the beach is a half hour stroll.
My only concerns were the badlydesigned bathrooms giving very little privacy....even the toilet! Also the hotel is crying out for a decent bar. We went over the road to the very spanish Gloria's or cheap gins! Half the hotel guests wee always there so the hotl is missing atrick here.
If you want to us the pool area - which is wonderful....get there quick. Space is very limited and the hotel photosar deceptive.
Top Tip
Great restaurant in the modern market behind the otel using market produce.
One gin in Gloria's at least is a must to experience a real Spanish urban drinking hole.

Top Tip
Tapas 24 on Gracia is a must!
If you go to any Disco's near
the Ramblas be careful on way home. Some streets quite narrow and dark.

Great location, near to everything, roof top pool a real bonus. Breakfast was great and set you up for the day.
Top Tip
Use the tourist bus to get around, it may seem expensive but it makes it a lot easier and it goes until late in the evening.

this is one of the nicest hotels i have stayed in in Barcelona where i have travelled to on many occasions. the staff are friendly and the service is excellent the rooms were cleaned every day and the choice of breakfast was amazing the blackout blinds in the room is excellent and the air conditioning did work i have read other reviews about the lighting in the corridors but there is no problem as there are lights down all the corridors i would definitely stay here again. local for Ramblas gothic cathedral central for almost everywhere
