Top Tip
Huge variety of restaurants. Tourist bus is a good way of spotting the places you want to visit. Metro is also very good for getting around. Restaurants down by the port are very good.

Very friendly and helpful service, great location just off Plaza Catalunya. Excellent breakfast, nice pool
Top Tip
Do go on the Red and Blue round the town bus tours. The cable car ride across the harbour is also well worthwhile.

Only problem was our room must have been in an older part of the hotel and the air conditioning was not adquate -- the lobby and other areas were fine.
Top Tip
Must use TouristBus on/off card -- fabulous routes and gives a great overview of the city.

The excellent location made up for the small sized room. The metro station is right outside the door and made for easy access from the bus station. The breakfast was lovely and all in all this hotel was excellent value for money.
Top Tip
Avoid the cable car - you end up queueing for hours to get back - a real let down.
Spoilt for choice for places to eat, there are some real gems if you wander down the side streets off the Ramblas.

I was initially given a single room which was very small and poorly ventilated (the air con being switched off because of cool weather). You booking clearly stated 'Double room used as single room'. After I complained I was moved to another, very nice room.
